Myself as a Yautja, finally updated and revamped just as I promised myself I would.

Her name means: "Holy Fire, That which survives all..."

(*fitting for me if you know my life... )

This was intended as a rough sketch or prelude to the final version of my Yautja OC, however I'm not sure much will change now that I see my completed work. I'm so very proud of myself for all the details (which I LOATHE doing) that I put carefully and collectively into this piece and it's not even a colored work!

She is indeed a thing of beauty.

I'm sure she'll gain a few accessories and different pieces of armor along the way, but this is her and it was a long time coming that I finish her. What is not visible in this picture (aside from her face I know I know- I'm still working on drawing their faces) her right shoulder armor and her right leg armor (which can be viewed in the 1st reference picture link found below)- I'm changing that reference a little so her helmet will be less girly, without the swirlies on the top which look lame and with a different scar on her helmet (from a xeno- probably across the face of the mask...), but the Eye of Horus symbol will remain and her collar bones are pierced.

...and what girl would be complete without her super-cute strappy sandals!

Scars: left collarbone/breast & right leg made by xenomorph prey. Right collarbone pierced. Tendril decor: silver clips, bone beads & random feathers.
Clan Symbol/Status: Eye of Horus, a blooded Nrak'ytara (Guardian)

One of my favorite parts about this picture is the little danglies I added for uber awesomeness hanging from the decorative clips in her tendrils. Not to mention I adore the overall curve and shape of this picture. Kudos to me for the torn mesh on her right leg! I'm sure there are some anatomy mistakes here (like the left arm looks a little funny), but I'm not caring! I love it!

*As you can tell by viewing these links I altered a few things since these... ...and learned to draw a whole hell of a lot better since then...

Yautja FUN FACTS: Females are larger and substantially stronger than the males not unlike arthopods from our home world! Because of their likeness to insects (and/or some fish) and due to incomplete data on the females (as they are fewer and seldom seen in comparison to the males), there is some debate as to whether they could be considered similar to mammals or not as we are uncertain whether they give live birth to their young or if their offspring are hatched from eggs (though they do procreate in the typical sexual way only it's not quite as pleasant as it is for humans)... If you'll notice, the Yautja have no navals nor do they have nipples (that we know of anyways ), so this could support the theory that they are more closely similar to a cold blooded species (however, their young ARE referred to as "sucklings" so... ). Their blood is a unique bioluminescent substance that comes out a phosphor green. Their indigenous atmosphere is mainly CH4 (Methane), but they can breathe in our atmosphere with minimal discomfort. The Hma'mi'de (the language of the hish) seems to be a compilation of several different languages with many alterations speaking in object, verb, subject order, most of which is difficult to pronounce in our silly fused mandible tongues... Written, it looks like a bunch of dots & dashes.
