The completed version of Holy Trinity which is a Mother's Day Gift (and just in time ) for my Mother in-Law.
This is her in her angelic form and her two cats in theirs.
The Queen of Angels and her gatos, Gilgamesh and Shadow Sable.
I know the blue background was less creative than I could've sprung for, but I think it compliments the picture well irregardless.
I'm also fully aware that my animal drawing power has grown a bit rusty over the last couple of years as I hadn't had a real need to draw them until just recently, so regretfully Gilgamesh and Sable turned out a bit more rudementary than the centerpoint, but all in all for what it's worth I think I rescued it a little with adding the colorations.
The lineart was done with Micron Pens 005 and 01. The colors were done with a mixture of Crayola, Prang and Prismacolor colored pencils and the highlights were done with sakura gel pens.
I'm far too lazy to wait that long. If I waited until the day before it'd never get done! *lol*
Also I'm less encouraged to finish something if the person I'm doing it for has seen it so I was careful to hide it when she was around.
I thought of finishing the one I started of my Mom for Mother's Day but in a way it seems silly since she's not alive. I try to limit my sentimentality to necessary things...
Thank you! She loved the dress too, she said she wanted that dress! Too bad for her! I made it up! My shot at fashion design... She says she has an indigo aura so I thought the blue fitting, especially with Gil's eyes! She loved it, it almost floored her when I handed it to her and she opened her eyes. I still think I could've done better, at least on the lion's face, but she had no complaints so that was all that mattered!
